My grandfather Leo Dean Archdale passed away on Tuesday night at the age of 78. He chose not to have a funeral so he will be cremated and our immediate family will do a formal burial in the next month. My parents were there with him as well as one of his closest friends. He joins my grandmother who passed away 2 years ago.
Tomorrow morning I am going in for my surgery. It's outpatient and should be uneventful. I am taking off the next couple of days to rest and relax. My only plan is to go out on Saturday to buy pumpkins and gourds for the front porch to make it look festive for fall. Wish me luck!
