Milk and bread?

The snow is now falling across the Midwest and it brings back memories of when 4-7 inches of snow was never a big deal where I was from. Matt and I went grocery shopping a few days ago and pondered making a scene in the bread aisle by frantically grabbing heaping armfuls of bread and throwing it into our cart. I remember when there were threats of big winter storms you could go to the store and find the bread and milk shelves completely empty. Why is that? That's the LAST thing I would grab if I knew I was going to be holed up in my house for a few days.

Here is what I would stock up on:
  • toilet paper (not for me)
  • veggie corn dogs from Morningstar
  • wine (to keep warm)
  • good smelly body lotion
  • s'mores kit
  • super thick hiking socks to keep the pigs warm

Stay safe and don't like drive like an idiot out there! Because if you get hurt and hold a fundraiser to pay your medical bills I won't attend! I heard that on the radio tonight on the way home and laughed out loud.
